This event is part of the SDTaP Programme and will take place on Tuesday 11 February 2020, in London.
Society is increasingly relying on technologies such as the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to enhance our lifestyles, our goods and services. Finding potential solutions to the challenges that arise from these technologies requires transdisciplinary research done in collaboration with industry and government.
This event is an opportunity to network with leading academic IoT experts, industry technologists and government officials. 12pm-2pm – Networking Lunch & Project Showcase
Network with PETRAS colleagues, and industry and government partners. Hear from and engage with research projects from the SDTaP programme, including InnovateUK’s collaborative R&D Round 1 competition, as well as EPSRC and PETRAS projects.
2pm-5pm – World Economic Forum & PETRAS Global State of IoT Governance Workshop
PETRAS, Carnegie Mellon University, and the World Economic Forum are collaborating to write a Global State of IoT Governance Report that will be launched at the first World Economic Forum Global Technology Governance Summit in San Francisco in April 2020.
WEF and PETRAS are conducting a workshop where preliminary findings of a global survey will be shared with the expert audience. Its purpose is to gather the valuable input and insights of subject matter experts like yourself, enriching these preliminary findings for the final analysis and discussion.
