Call Details

This funding call is now closed. Details below are for reference purposes.

CE II have now released a funding call on the 5 October 2023 called the “Connected Everything Futures Prize Fund”:

•We will be awarding prizes of up to £20,000 to researchers to develop their own network proposal

•Competition winners will then be mentored by the current Project Team on how to write a successful network+ proposal.

•Such proposals can either be submitted via responsive mode for a new network within digital manufacturing, Connected Everything 3, or applying for relevant network calls when announced

• The awarded funds can be used for investigator time, travel, researcher time and workshops.

•We encourage groups of up to 5 to apply for this funding call.

Research Topics

The thematic areas were refreshed for Connected Everything II and have been fundamental to the transformation towards digital manufacturing:

Applicants can touch on these thematic areas, and also refer back to the previous thematic areas of connected Everything I that can be found on our site or suggest new thematic areas within their application. Some new research areas were established during the Celebration & Sandpit event on the 27th September and details of these can be found here in our post-sandpit workshop report.
