As part of Conference 2019, a Digital Manufacturing Career Workshop for PhD students and Early Career Researchers (within 3 years post PhD) will be held.
With interactive sessions and speakers from industry, the Career Workshop will cover the following topics:
- What is digital manufacturing?
- What career opportunities are available within digital manufacturing?
- What skills are required for these job roles?
- What careers support is available and required to support careers in digital manufacturing?
When registering your interest you will be asked what interests you about digital manufacturing and what you would like to achieve by attending the workshop.
Relevant research areas include engineering, computer science, mathematics, physical sciences and social sciences. A wide range of disciplines are relevant as current directions in digital manufacturing increasingly draw on the knowledge and skills of people with backgrounds in a wide range of subjects.
