The Benefits & Challenges of Early Career Researchers Working with Industry
About this event
Are you an early career researcher wanting to learn more about how to engage and talk to industry? Perhaps you’re even wondering why you should be engaging industry?
Connected Everything and PETRAS have joined up to create this online event to help support those in the earlier stage of their research careers to learn more about working with Industry and offer opportunities to create collaborations.
The event will run on Connected Everything’s gather.town platform to enable people to easily network online.
The agenda for the session includes:
• How to talk to Industry workshop
• Hearing from Industry leaders
• Finding out more about Connected Everything’s Industry placement call
• Networking with Industry and other researchers
This event is aimed at those in the earlier stage of their research career, but the event is open to all. The Industry Placement call is specifically for Early Career Researchers and offers up to £5,000 for online or onsite placements of up to 6 weeks.
