Annual Conference of the UK Association for Computational Mechanics (UKACM 2022), which will be organised as an in-person event at The University of Nottingham from 20th to 22nd of April 2022.

Abstract submission

The abstract submission system is now open and templates for submitting a 1-page abstract are available at LINK or use the QR code below.

The deadline for the 1-page abstract submission is 31.12.2021.

Spatial Issue in journal

Participants will receive feedback on their one-page abstract a week after the submission deadline and they will be invited to write a four-page extended abstract by 15th February 2022. All participants will be invited to submit a full paper for Engineering with Computers Special Issue UKACM 2022: Advances in Computational Mechanics.

Authors are encouraged to express their interest to contribute a special issue contribution at abstract submission for the conference. The EWCO submission site for the special issue should open on the final day of the conference, April 22, 2022.  

UKACM 2022 scope

The annual conference of the UK Association for Computational Mechanics (UKACM) is part of a well-established conference series promoted by the UKACM and it is the main national conference focussing on recent developments in computational mechanics. The UKACM 2022 conference will mark the start the 30th Anniversary of UKACM. Particularly tailored to PhD students and early-career researchers, this conference focusses on cutting-edge research in computational mechanics and promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration with mathematics through high-calibre lectures on advanced computational methods.
