Connected Everything has started work on our horizon scanning activity to look further into the future of Digital Manufacturing and identify challenges and opportunities existing in 10, 20 and 30 years’ time. This survey aims to capture the digital manufacturing community’s views on this issue, specifically looking into the state of three areas of importance in 2050. These areas being Industrial Digital Technologies (IDTs), future manufacturing job roles and key issues to manufacturers in 2050. Your responses will then go on to inform our further work, as well as, being published in an article for The Manufacturer.
